🚧 POTHOLE PATROL! GETTING OUR ROADS FIXED! 🚧

I've been out across our area again reporting potholes.  If you are a regular follower you'll have seen that I am often trying to tackle this recurring issue!

Whilst I am glad to see many of the previously reported issues have been fixed, there are some that still haven't been which I have raised again.

I've reported 27 road issues around our area and requested that these are patched.  Like you, I know these don't last so I am still pressing for more permanent works to be carried out in some areas when the weather improves.

I'll be meeting with the highways team to discuss these issues and look at the types of repair available.

If there's an issue on a road or footpath that you've seen, please report it online:

WESTBOURNE AVENUE - FOOTPATH FIX

I was recently chatting to residents on Westbourne Avenue whilst out in the ward.

Whilst discussing an ongoing water leak I also raised the issue of a damaged section of pavement which was a real trip hazard.

This has now been fixed and is much safer for those on foot! 🚶

Let me know about any issues so that I can work to get them sorted.

TIMBRELL AVENUE - ALLEY GATE FIXED

I had been trying for some time to get this alley gate on Timbrell Avenue repaired, as it would not physically close or lock.

I am pleased that this repair has now been carried out to make the alleyway behind the properties more secure and to help discourage fly tipping and ASB. 🔑

If you are a resident of a property that has an alley gate and need a key for access, you can get one from the library in the lifestyle centre (address ID is required).

Call 01270 375295 for further details.

🔒 Remember to keep gates locked so they can serve the purpose they are intended for!

If there's an issue you think needs sorting, let me know.

🛒 LOST SHOPPING TROLLEYS REPORTED! 🛒

Whilst out and about I've reported these lost Morrisons shopping trolleys on Timbrell Avenue and Sidings Close to be picked up and returned to the store.

Help me to keep our streets clean to work to make a better community for all who live in Crewe St Barnabas.

You can report lost trolleys by downloading the Trolleywise app from your app store or by phoning 0800 3161241.
