Dear fellow residents,

Happy new year!  I hope you are well and that you had a great Christmas, being able to enjoy some time off with your families.

Just a quick email to let you know about our next community litter pick.

The next date is Sunday 21st January at 11am.

The location is slightly different this time, as we will be meeting at Derby Docks off Underwood Lane to clean up the park and playground.

We will be joined by Roger Morris who is a candidate for the Crewe Central by-election which is happening in early February.

Roger runs a local family business on West Street which he has done for over 35 years, with the business being in the family since 1920.  He donated his business premises for use as a vaccination centre during the COVID crisis.

I am supporting Roger in his campaign to become local councillor for Crewe Central to tackle the issues in that area.

It is my hope that Roger will be successful in becoming elected so that we can work together, as Crewe Central ward is directly adjacent to Crewe St Barnabas.  Together we can make postive changes to a wider area.

I hope you will be able to join us on the 21st January at Derby Docks, to clean up and help make a real difference to the area.

Equipment will be provided but if you have a litter picker please do bring it with you.

Please pop the date in your diary, I look forward to seeing you on the 21st at 11am!
